Adrianne + Mandy’s black tulle ’n’ tux wedding | USA

Real Weddings / December 3, 2014

I’m not going to lie you, today’s wedding feature is pretty darn cool.

Between Mandy’s black tux and Adrianne’s black and white tulle wedding dress, these guys rocked the F* out of their wedding.

They considered their wedding to be semi-traditional. Although they are not religious, they wanted a wedding party, flower girls and to be given away by their parents – Mandy by her father and Adrianne by her mother.

The colour theme for the day was black, greys and red. Most of the wedding was DIY by both brides with the help of Mandy’s mum and the flowers put together by Mandy’s aunt and wedding party.

It was also important to them that the day reflected them both as a couple. Adrianne being a musician, and being surrounded by musical minded folk, gave the girls the idea of having friends play live for them while Tapas were served.

Tips from Adrianne and Mandy:

“Lock in the big stuff early. Have fun with the small stuff. Make it personal. Oh, and put together a budget that’s about 20% LESS than you’re prepared to spend…because you will spend at least 20% more than you budgeted.

Be a guest at your own wedding. When you arrive, stop planning. Drink the wine, eat the food, enjoy the music. Remember to take a moment for yourselves before the chaos begins.”

Lara is a bit of dark horse. She is a wedding photographer, a video editor, a motorcycle riding, hot chocolate connoisseur who was once a ballerina. WOAH?! Yeah, you heard me. And @ F yeah, no one really knows what she does. Maybe she looks after all the social media, marketing and being that final swing vote on large F* Yeah decisions. Maybe she’s the king of the music playlists and maybe she’s the one that always manages to look busy even when she’s really actually doing nothing. Maybe.
