We have been a little obsessed with featuring gorgeous men on our blog lately, and we couldn’t resist featuring one more! You remember Braden and Phillip’s Panama Island wedding that we featured 3 weeks back? Well we also have their US ceremony, that took place one fine Valentine’s Day… and it too rated high on the adorable meter! What better place to have one’s legal ceremony than on the top of the Empire State Building, dah!
Allow me to set the scene – Saturday February 14th this year, an intimate affair. Temperature… some place between a Polar Bear’s natural habitat and 15 degrees Fahrenheit. Braden and Phillip, 2 of their friends, an Officiant and Eyewitness News. Intimate right?!
“We had to get married in America before our ceremony in Panama so we were going to go to the City Hall. However, a friend of ours told us about the opportunity to get married on the Empire State Building. With both of us coming from different places and meeting in New York it just felt natural for us to get married on top of the most iconic building in the City.”
With sweeping views of the City below the boys said I do – legally. “It was honestly amazing to overlook the entire city… a place where we’ve made a life together for the past 4 years (June 18th is actually the 4 year anniversary of when we met) and promise to spend the rest of our lives together.”
“We then had an amazing brunch with some of our closest friends at one of our favorite restaurants in the city Joe and Misses Doe. Jill and Joe (the owners) surprised us with an amazing menu and decorations to celebrate the day.”
Braden + Phillip’s romantic and intimate Valentine’s Day ceremony atop the quintessential Empire State was ever so dreamy and ever so sweet which made for all the feels.
