Engagement session – Toronto, Ontario
Meet Matthew and Pierre. These dapper lads met while doing a musical theatre production of RENT and have been together for almost 7 years.
The boys are a very dapper and stylish couple who, thanks to Pinterest, had a vision for an equally dashing engagement session in the park. This shoot rates high on the cheese factor, but who doesn’t love cheese… am I raight?!
The location, Scarborough Heights Park, came about quite simply…
[Matthew] “Pierre chose the location after the original location was too F*n crowded and we couldn’t find any damn F*n parking.” BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
“We brought a bunch of stuff from home (blanket, throw pillows, lantern, books, guitar, picnic basket) and rented some (luggage, bicycle).”
“It was our 5-year anniversary and we decided to take a 2-hour road trip North of Toronto to Collingwood Ontario, with no plans, just excited to see where the day would take us. We loaded up the pups and headed out. After spending a few hours walking the trails, we had worked up a healthy appetite and decided to pick up a pizza and book into the Cranberry Resort for the night. Showered and suited in our flannel sleeping gear, we crashed out in front of the television. About 2 slices and 1 tomato sauce stained shirt in, we exchanged anniversary cards. Matt went second and broke into a speech before sneakily dropping onto one knee and proposing. Totally simple, kinda’ sloppy and romantic, but genuinely us.”
“Feeling like our vision was brought to life thanks to the combined efforts of our F*n awesome photographer, our super patient dog handler and two extremely meticulous grooms.”
“Victor was totally open to our ideas, that paired with his ability to bring his own personal touch to each shot made everything easy breezy.”
Join me in wishing Matthew and Pierre all of the happiness in the whole-wide-world on their engagement. Bless!!!!
