Emmett + Julien’s Snowy Portrait Session | Canada

Portraits / May 27, 2015

Emmett and Julien’s snowy portrait session in Canada was a gorgeous shoot featuring icy snow, snuggly beanies and even snugglier pair of adorable guys.

How did you meet?

“We occasionally met during our first year of university in residence but hadn’t really got to know each other. One year later, a friend from Australia who we had in common came to Montreal. She invited all of her friends to a bar, and Emmett and I met there a little before the scheduled time. We ended up spending the night together at two bars and a Halloween-special cabaret show. We’ve now been together for a year and a half.”

On their awesome photographers (Isos Photography)

“It was very fun! We had never done a photoshoot before so we thought it might be a little awkward, but everything ended up going very smoothly and naturally. They found beautiful spots to take pictures and gave us a lot of freedom in our poses, so we goofed around a lot because it was very cold outside. We ended the photoshoot around a cup of coffee and had a very pleasant chat with them. The entire photoshoot was memorable since it was our first time! Both Lisa and Fulya were really great!”

Kristen is one of those silent but deadly types. With one foot firmly standing in the concert photography industry, the other in the wedding photography industry another in the digital design industry and another in the wedding blog industry. Yes. She has four feet. She’s one of those annoyingly talented people that is good at everything. We secretly hate her. @ F* yeah, Kristen is the design guy looking after the website’s ins and outs along with co-making big F* yeah decisions.
