The rolling countryside of Cagliari, in the island of Sardinia, is where we set today’s wedding scene. Our leading men are Andrea (in the brown suit) and Massimo.
It was a lovely Autumn day at the ‘Is Paulis’ restaurant where Andrea and Massimo decided to wed, surrounded by their closest family and friends… as well as their gorgeous fur-baby Django.
Andrea and Massimo’s love story began 6 years ago, after they first made contact in the most romantic way…via Facebook :D
“After a few months of dating we moved in together, and since then we have built a life together made up of sharing of experiences and mutual support. And for 2 years now we have been enriched by Django, our beautiful white dog you see in the photos.”
“We knew from the beginning that we wanted an intimate and warm wedding in our home town, in a place where we could have privacy and where we could bring our dog Django!”
“Our ceremony was written and performed by Claudia, the only Humanist Celebrant in Sardinia – who personalized our ceremony with readings that had a special meaning to us and our best songs, making it even more special.”
“The ceremony was followed by a rich antipasti buffet with lots of delicious finger food (we are Italian and of course food lovers!) and a wonderful dinner outdoor in country style on long tables.”
“We chose Fabio Marras because we love his style. Also because he is the only one who is supporting openly of the LGBT Community in Sardinia, which is very important for us especially at our wedding.”
“Choosing a local LGBT-friendly wedding planner was very important to us because we wanted only gay-friendly vendors and we didn’t know how to move forward with that. We were also new to gay weddings because none of our gay and lesbian friends had been married in Sardinia before, therefore it was a completely new experience for us.”
Saluti a te Andrea e Massimo! May you have many blissful wedded years together you handsome, handsome humans xx.
